Join Flat Branch as we build Gingerbread Homes to build stronger communities this holiday season.
This December, Flat Branch is focusing on what matters during the holidays – giving back to those in need. On our Facebook page this month, you will see decorated gingerbread homes representing charities in the communities we serve. Then it’s up to you! We’re asking for the public to vote for their favorite gingerbread house by December 30. The winning charity will receive a donation of $1,000. In the spirit of giving, all the other nominated charities will also receive a $250 donation.
Flat Branch employees have selected 8 charities that are near and dear to their hearts, and will be decorating gingerbread houses that represent each organization. Photos of these houses will be posted on Facebook for YOU to vote on. The winning house will receive a donation from Flat Branch Home Loans!

Operation Breakthrough provides a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education. - Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – nominated by employees in the St. Louis area
As a global leader in the fight against cancer, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provides resources and education regarding these types of cancer, while also researching treatments. - True North of Columbia – nominated by employees in the Mid Missouri area
True North is an emergency shelter that provides safe housing, counseling, and advocacy for victims experiencing intimate partner violence and their children. - Boys & Girls Club of Southwest MO – nominated by employees in the Southern Missouri area
Boys & Girls Club provides education, enrichment, character development, and life-skills for young boys and girls, ages 6-18.
- Saving Grace NWA – nominated by employees in the Arkansas area
Saving Grace serves young women ages 18-25 who have aged out of foster care or are facing homelessness. - Ray of Hope Advocacy Center – nominated by employees in the Oklahoma area
Ray of Hope is a multi-service organization committed to assisting adult and child survivors of abuse and violence. The organization provides assistance, education, and advocacy for victims and enables them to work on their healing journey. - Foster Village Peoria – nominated by employees in the Illinois area
Foster Village Peoria bridges the gap in support and resources for those in the foster care community by meeting practical needs, providing educational training and support, and advocating as a collective voice for the community. - Habitat for Humanity of Wichita Falls – nominated by employees in the TX, NE, IA, TN area
Habitat for Humanity of Wichita Falls, Texas provides affordable housing to those in need.
